Machine Gun Mokgolo becomes worlds first Extreme Striking Champion
Thursday November 22nd saw 21 year old Sydney "Machine Gun" Mokgolo become the first ever Extreme Striking champion in the world.
He decimated his much more experienced opponent with a massive combination of punches and elbows which saw Lucky Notshele face down on the canvass and the machine gun on top of the cage fencing arms raised in triumph long before the referee actually called the fight.
The hige right elbow hook that ko'd Notshele lest the crowd in stunned silence until Notshele was able to move and sit up.
The crowd was utterly awed by the youngsters performance which along with the showing from Tiger Ximba doing K-1 and Marino Cutendana in MMA earlier in the evening were simply on a different level to the rest.
Much of Mokgolo's young career has been based around Extreme Striking on the big MMA shows so he was a fitting winner as he takes his startling pro fight record to 19 fights - 19 wins - 0 losses and 19 of his wins by KO.

The same fight card also saw "Young Guns" Thabo "De Natural" Chauke and Eugene vander Merwe also in Extreme Striking action with young Chauke looking the better fighter from the start with a great range of punches, kicks, knees and elbows.
Van der Merwe was uable to come out for round 3 following a fracture to a bone in the wrist blocking a kick to the body from Chauke.
